Tailor-made services for the plastics industry
Specialized analysis methods for plastics
SAS hagmann offers comprehensive analytical services for the plastics processing industry.
We specialize in the characterization of main polymer components as well as the detailed recording of additives and fillers, including UV stabilizers, flame retardants and glass fiber content. Our expertise also extends to the investigation of aging and leaching processes. With our infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) we offer fast and cost-effective material identifications that are of interest to compounders, injection molders and further processing companies.
In addition, we carry out quantitative and qualitative determinations of glass fibers and glass beads using scanning electron microscopy with microarea analysis (SEM-EDX) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). For medical devices, we offer tests for leachables, which can include both organic and inorganic substances, carried out using GC-MS, HPLC-UV and ICP-MS. SAS hagmann verfügt über nötigen Mittel zur Bearbeitung dieser komplexen Fragestellungen.
